Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

We believe your body holds remarkable power to heal itself — sometimes
it just needs a little help. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is an
advanced, natural treatment that uses your own blood to help repair damaged tissue, reduce inflammation, and restore mobility.

The Science
PRP is simple yet powerful. A small sample of your blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge, where it’s spun to separate and concentrate platelets and growth factors — the essential components your body uses to repair tissue. This enriched plasma is then precisely injected into the area of pain or injury to stimulate cell regeneration, boost collagen production, and accelerate healing
The Process
PRP therapy takes less than 15 minutes and is performed in the comfort of our office. Most patients require 1–3 sets of PRP injections, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Because PRP is made from your own blood, the risk of reaction is very low — though, as with any injection, there is a small risk of local irritation or infection.
Why It’s Worth Considering
PRP therapy is an excellent option for patients who want to heal naturally, improve function, and avoid unnecessary surgery. It can help with the following and more — depending on your individual needs:

●   Joint pain and arthritis
●   Disc-related back pain
●   Tendon and ligament injuries (like rotator cuff tears or tennis elbow)
●   Muscle strains and overuse injuries
●   Plantar fasciitis and other chronic soft tissue pain
