Dr. Scott Berlin, MD

Dr. Scott Berlin is a nationally recognized pain management and regenerative medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience helping patients live free from chronic pain. Known for his precision, compassion, and innovation, Dr. Berlin combines advanced medical technology with a deeply personalized approach to care.
He was the first physician in Dallas to implant a fully implantable dual-lead spinal cord stimulator system—now the standard of care. His expertise spans a wide range of therapies, including spinal cord stimulation, Vertiflex® Superion® for spinal stenosis, intrathecal pain pumps, regenerative treatments like stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and precision-guided injections for targeted relief.
Dr. Berlin believes that effective pain relief is both a science and an art. His patients value his genuine care, attention to detail, and commitment to staying at the forefront of medical innovation. Affiliated with five hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, he continues to provide exceptional, minimally invasive solutions for even the most complex pain conditions.
Education & Training
Dr. Berlin earned his Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.He completed his internship in internal medicine and fellowships in pain management and cardiac anesthesia at Yale University. After relocating to Dallas, he established the pain management clinic at Methodist Medical Center.
He is board certified in anesthesiology, a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, and a member of leading professional organizations, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Society for Pain Practice Management, and the World Institute of Pain.
