Innovation Meets Compassion

Dr. Michael Phillips is a leading authority in pain management and regenerative medicine, known for combining cutting-edge science with a deeply compassionate approach to patient care. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Phillips continues to redefine what’s possible in modern pain relief and functional restoration. A trailblazer in his field, Dr. Phillips has achieved numerous medical firsts. He was the first physician in Dallas–Fort Worth to perform autologous intradiscal stem cell (BMAC) injections for lumbar disc disease and the first in Texas to perform cervical spine intradiscal stem cell injections. He also became the first Texas specialist to implant a gold-plated Medtronic spinal cord stimulator for a patient with a titanium allergy and the first in North Texas to implant the Abbott Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulator system for complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

Dr. Phillips was also among the first 50 physicians in the nation trained to implant the Vertiflex® Superion® indirect decompression spacer for lumbar spinal stenosis. His advanced skill set includes spinal cord stimulation, regenerative therapies such as stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and precision-guided interventions designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Phillips has held several leadership roles, serving on executive boards and medical executive committees and as medical director for multiple respected surgery centers throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
